The most awaited and debated BGT 2023 has come to an end in a grand fashion with India, claiming the series. Interestingly, this is the fourth consecutive Test series win for India against Australia with an identical 2-1 margin.

Speaking about how the series panned out, the duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja accounted for 31 wickets in the first two matches helping India win them comfortably. Nathan Lyon induced a ten-wicket haul in the third game to help Australia bounce back in the third Test match as they defeated India by a margin of 9 wickets. A total of 5 centuries were recorded in the series in which four of them came in the final Test which ended in a high-scoring draw affair. Rohit Sharma, Usman Khawaja, Cameron, Green, Shubman Gill, and Virat Kohli were the players to score centuries in the BGT 2023 tour. Both India and Australia secured the final berth in the WTC 2021/23 and will play in the oval on June 7th, 2023.

Australian- star opener Usman Khawaja leads the BGT 2023 batting chart with 333 runs in seven innings at an average of 47.47, he is followed by Virat Kohli with 297 runs in six innings and averaging 49.50. The third spot is occupied by Axar Patel with 264 runs in five innings at an average of 88. In the bowling department, Ravichandran Ashwin leads the BGT 2023 chart with 25 scalps, and the second spot is shared between Nathan Lyon and Ravindra Jadeja with 22 wickets each.

16 -India has won the home Test series for the consecutive 16th time.
