His bleak and forgettable captaincy performance added salt to the wound. Hardik was viciously ridiculed, failing to produce with bat and ball in the lucrative competition. But, his narrative took a positive turn for Hardik's clutch player abilities when he played a crucial role in India's success at the team's triumphant T20 World Cup 2024, producing 144 runs and 11 wickets in eight matches.
