The Sunrisers are yet to win a game in Chennai, against the Chennai Super Kings. With their bowling line-up, and with Chennai’s struggles with the ball though, the upcoming game presents them with an opportunity of changing that record. Spin has been very effective at the ground, but Rajasthan, with their quality managed to breach Chepauk, leaving Hyderabad with a lot of hope to do the same.

Venue: Chennai
A warm evening is expected at Chennai.
With spin in the track and the ball stopping as it gets older, batting first could be a better option.

Ravindra Jadeja
Ravindra Jadeja has been getting a grip and turn and also seems to have found some of his rhythms with the bat. He has been a touch under used, but will be a huge player in the upcoming game, especially with the small boundaries providing a massive challenge to him with the ball.
Harry Brook
Harry Brook has finally performed and satisfied the SRH management. At the auction, a lot of faith was put on him to come good, and opening the batting, he absolutely nailed the spot, taking on the fast bowlers with ease.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar vs Ajinkya Rahane: Rahane has been in good form this season, but he will be up against a bowler who has had the better of him. Bhuvi has taken Rahane’s wicket six times, and with Rahane up the order it will be interesting to see how the new and aggressive Rahane negotiates him.
Despite their results and record at Chennai, Sunrisers could back themselves given CSK’s woes with the ball.
