Bangladesh and Ireland square off in the second IT20 of the three-match series on Wednesday at the Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. The first match was called off due to rain, but Bangladesh still won. They scored 207-5 before restricting Ireland to 81-5 in eight overs. Bangladesh produced another excellent performance in the first IT20, with all of their batters coming to the crease and hitting runs at a high strike rate. At home, they have an excellent team. Ireland had a good go at their target of 104 from eight overs in the first match of the series, but they appear to be far weaker now.

Bangladesh achieved their highest powerplay score in IT20s in the first game of this series, and they have dominated the majority of Ireland’s bowlers throughout the tour. Ireland produced an entertaining batting performance in the first game of the series, but Bangladesh never seemed in trouble. Ireland continues to fight hard, but the reality is that their players lack experience in these conditions at this level. We predict another one-sided game with Bangladesh winning. Considering the team combination, Bangladesh is expected to win this match.
