After a commanding victory in the first Test against Bangladesh, the touring South Africans will be eager to win the second. A 2-0 victory here will increase their chances of preparing for the World Test Championship final. Bangladesh, on the other hand, has a lot to work on, particularly in their top order, which must improve if they are to make a comeback.

Bangladesh were anticipated to give South Africa a run over their money during the first Test. That did not happen, as the Proteas cruised home with a clinical performance. Bangladesh's bowling unit is strong enough to continue questioning the opposing batters. However, their batting lineup has consistently failed them. They depend heavily on Mehidy Hasan Miraz to score runs. South Africa's batting unit is a novice, but they have demonstrated the will to fight. More importantly, the bowling attack, led by Kagiso Rabada and Keshav Maharaj, is simply too strong for Bangladesh's struggling batting lineup. We believe the visitors will continue to dominate this Test match. Considering the team combination, South Africa is expected to win this match.
