We are ready for the India vs Pakistan match in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Group Stage match. This Group A fixture is set to run at Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Sunday (February 23) from 2:30 PM IST (01:00 PM local time).
The ICC Champions Trophy 2017 finalists are set to face each other in the ninth edition of the tournament. Pakistan won that Final to lift the trophy for the first time after beating the defending champions India by 180 runs.
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Group A match will be the second match for both teams in this tournament. Pakistan started this tournament with a match against New Zealand at the National Stadium in Karachi last Wednesday (February 19), which was also a tournament opener, and the hosts and defending champions suffered a 60-run defeat. So, Pakistan can't afford another defeat in this group stage, as another loss is likely to end their hope of advancing to the Semi-finals of the tournament.
Meanwhile, India started the tournament powerfully, as they comfortably beat Bangladesh in their tournament opener at Dubai International Cricket Stadium last Thursday (February 20). After struggling at 35/5, Bangladesh ultimately managed to score 228 runs in the first innings of that match. Despite some hiccups, India comfortably chased the target in 46.3 overs after losing four wickets, as they won by six wickets.
