On Wednesday, India and New Zealand face off in the first semi-final of the 2023 Cricket World Cup in Mumbai. This is the second time these two teams have met in the semi-finals of the Cricket World Cup, with New Zealand winning by 18 runs in 2019 at Old Trafford. New Zealand made a strong start to the 2023 Cricket World Cup before faltering in the second half of the group stage. In their final group stage match, they won again against Sri Lanka.
