South Africa Women take on Australia Women in Gqeberha on Saturday evening. South Africa Women lost their opening game of the tournament to Sri Lanka Women but responded well with a 65 run victory over New Zealand Women. Australia have played three won three so far. South Africa Women struggled with the pressure of being the hosts in the opening game but were back to their best against New Zealand Women. However, they will need to go up a few more levels to challenge Australia Women. Australia Women have been their usual ruthless selves in this tournament so far. They have not been tested at all yet and have plenty more depth to show off in their line-up if required.

Although they are not mathematically confirmed yet, Australia Women look to be well on course to win Group 1 on their journey to try and defend their Women’s T20 World Cup title again. South Africa Women have some strong players with both bat and ball but very few of them would challenge for a place in Australia Women’s team. South Africa Women have some world-class players and were far too good for New Zealand Women in Monday’s match. We expect Australia Women to continue their high levels with both bat and ball and to get another victory in this match. Considering the team combination, Australia-W is expected to win this match.
