Sydney Sixers take on Hobart Hurricanes Thursday evening in Sydney in Match 11 of the 2022-23 Big Bash League. The Sixers have lost both their opening games of this campaign whilst the Hurricanes were beaten in their first match before responding with a win over Perth Scorchers in Match 8. Sydney Sixers look a little low on confidence in their batting line-up but it will only take one big innings from one player to get their tournament going. This could be the moment on a good batting track. Hobart Hurricanes got back to winning ways in their last match and we expect there to be plenty of confidence flowing through all their players ahead of this game. They will take some stopping in Sydney.

The SCG surface is consistent with good carry and enables the batters to have full trust in their shots. We expect a par score of at least 195. There is a chance of some rain but not enough to stop a result in this game. The temperature will be around 19 degrees throughout with plenty of cloud cover.
No Injury. Will be added when there is an update

Both teams have excellent bowling line-ups but at the moment Sydney Sixers are struggling to produce the runs with the bat. With more batting consistency, it would be a surprise if Hobart Hurricanes did not get the win. In the first game at the SCG in this season’s BBL, we are expecting an excellent contest between the Sixers and the Hurricanes. Sydney Sixers will be hoping that a return to their home ground can get their season going but we think that Hobart Hurricanes will have too much quality with the bat. Overall, we are predicting a victory for Hobart Hurricanes. Considering the team combination, Hobart Hurricanes is expected to win this match.
