From today the 16th season of IPL starts. The first match is between the previous year’s winner Gujrat Titans and four-time IPL winner Chennai Super Kings. 

In the first match of this IPL 2023, CSK’s opener Ruturaj Gaikwad gives a fiery start to his team. After GT skipper Hardik Pandya won the toss and chose to bowl first, Mohammad Shami’s opening spell gave a sensational start to GT’s bowling.

He provides early breakthroughs to Titans. But GT’s bowling was washed out by skillful & aggressive batter Ruturaj Gaikwad.

Ruturaj Gaikwad’s brilliant knock helps Chennai to hang 178 runs on the board. Moeen Ali also contributes 23 runs in this total. Ali hits one six over the covers and four fours in his innings. After he got caught by Wridhhiman Saha in Rashid Khan’s first over Ben Stokes came into the pitch. And after Moeen got out in quick succession in the very next over of  Rashid khan he also got caught by Saha in the same way.

Now Stokes and Ali Got out four times by afghan spinner Rashid Khan. From the bowling side, Rashid and Shami showed their skills in bowling but other bowlers are bashed by Ruturaj.
