Gujarat take on Delhi in one of the biggest mismatches of the season. With Mitchell Marsh in form and David Warner around though, Delhi could back themselves to make a move here if David Warner in particular finds his timing and gets his side off to a good start.
Date: May 2nd, 2023
Time: 7:30 PM IST
Venue: Ahmedabad
A warm evening is expected at Ahmedabad.
With spin in the track and the ball stopping as it gets older, batting first could be a better option.

Mitchell Marsh
Mitchell Marsh single-handedly fought his way to keep DC in the game against the Sunrisers with both bat and ball. He, along with Axar Patel have shouldered the all-round duties well, and with the tournament heading into a do or die stage for them, Marsh will have to repeat his heroics a few more times.
Rashid Khan
Rashid Khan was taken apart the other night. The batters feasted on him and he will be very eager to comeback with a really good performance in the upcoming game. Normally, after being taken for a lot of runs, Khan does have the tendency of coming back really well and GT will be hoping he provides again for them.

David Warner vs Mohammad Shami: David Warner vs a quality pacer is always an interesting battle. In the Test series prior to the IPL and the IPL as well, Mohammad Shami has had the edge on David Warner, who does normally do better when he takes the bowlers on.
Gujarat should come in as favorites with a line-up that has been firing in all aspects and with players stepping up when needed with ease.
