Narayan Jagadeesan who takes a good catch in the first innings came to bat at no 2, but he failed to show his skills in the field. He went to the pavilion only scoring 6 runs. Then Impact player Venkatesh Iyer & skipper Nitish Rana hold the KKR’s innings. They built a big partnership of one hundred. This gives a good base to chase the big total.
In the middle of the match when Venky & Rana plays freely it looks like the match and the run chase will be made easily. Rana scored crucial 45 runs in just 29 balls & well-settled Iyer scored 83 in 40 balls. But both batsman gives their wicket to West Indian bowler Alzari Joseph. This gives a big blow to KKR’s run chase.
But this is not the end that shakes the KKR’s innings, GT skipper Rashid Khan takes a hattrick in his last of this match. In the last over of his spell, he takes the of big hitter Russel, Narine, & previous match key player Shardul Thakur. That hat trick fully shakes up the KKR’s run chase.
