India are for all reasons out of this tournament. While there are mathematical chances of them going through, it is highly unlikely to see them go through. For a change though, in this Asia Cup, the batting has been ok. They are getting batters to do the job, and the aggressive intent is showing reasonable signs. Suryakumar Yadav’s form though remains a concern. It is with the ball where India are struggling. The bowlers are looking listless in the death without Jasprit Bumrah, and his absence leaves a very big hole, which is not a good sign at all.
Afghanistan on the other hand are in with a decent chance of going through. They are playing good cricket and some of their individuals have put their hands up nicely. While the Super four stage is not going as per their liking, their performances have definitely been a lot more encouraging.

The weather is clear and warm for the evening of IND vs AFG encounter.
The Dubai track is a touch slow early on and batting is tough in the first innings. The surface though eases out well in the second innings and batting second seems a lot more easier.
Hazratullah Zazai, Hashmatullah Shahidi, Ibrahim Zadran, Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Mohammad Nabi, Samiullah Shinwari, Rashid Khan, Najibullah Zadran, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Naveen-ul-Haq Murid, Fazalhaq Farooqi
Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Deepak Hooda, Ravichandran Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh
After a tough tournament Yuzvendra Chahal finally proved his worth. Three wickets in the previous game almost helped keep India ahead until the death overs. He is still trusting his flight and if he can continue to prove that bowling slow helps, he will have a strong chance of keeping himself in the side for the World Cup.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz is doing well to get crisp starts. He has the ability to change the course of the game in a short time, and if he gets going in the powerplay, Afghanistan will be able to go in the right direction against any opposition in the world.

India are a better side on paper but has struggled with their bowling attack. Afghanistan are also in some trouble but has already impressed throughout the tournament. While Afghanistan are on the rise, and India are struggling, India may still feel they are better placed.
