The Border-Gavaskar Trophy is a Test match series between the Indian cricket team and Australia that has been played since 1996 and has seen some tough competition between the two arsenals.

Sachin Tendulkar- 3630 Runs
In Test cricket, Sachin Tendulkar was one of Australia’s adversaries. Not only was he India’s leading run-scorer against Australia, but he was also only seven runs short of being the leading run-scorer from any nation in Tests against the Australians.
In this format, Tendulkar scored 3,630 runs against Australia. Over 39 bouts, the Master Blaster has an outstanding average of 55. He had 11 Test hundreds against Australia, the second-most by any hitter in this format, in addition to 16 fifties.

VVS Laxman- 2434 Runs
VVS Laxman played 29 Tests for India against Australia between 1998 and 2012. The hitter from Hyderabad scored 2,434 runs, including 12 fifties and six centuries. Though he had struck 338 fours against Australia in Tests, he did not hit a century.
Rahul Dravid- 2143 Runs
Rahul Dravid, the current Indian cricket team head coach, rounds up the top three run-scorers in Tests against Australia. Dravid, known as the “Wall of Cricket” for his rock-solid and gritty batting style, amassed 2,143 runs at an average of 39.68 in this match.
Dravid only scored two centuries in Test cricket against Australia, both of which were match-winning.
