Match 35 of the 2022 T20 World Cup brings India and Bangladesh together at the Adelaide Oval on Wednesday evening. India were beaten by South Africa on Sunday evening in Perth but have four points from their previous two matches. Bangladesh have also played three and won two. After their defeat to South Africa, India will be determined to get their tournament back on track in this match. They have a very strong record over Bangladesh and will be very confident of getting the win. Bangladesh’s win over Zimbabwe was their first victory over a full-member side in a T20 World Cup fixture since 2007. A win over India would be a huge upset.

Irrespective of the overhead conditions, this pitch always offers something to the pace and spin bowlers in IT20 fixtures. Both teams will need to score at least 165 to be competitive in this match. There is a chance of rain late in the evening in Adelaide but we do not expect it to arrive before the conclusion of this match. It will be no warmer than 13 degrees during this game.
No Injury. Will be added when there is an update

Bangladesh will need Taskin Ahmed to continue his strong form in the tournament if they are to have any chance in this game. However, even at his best, India will probably still have way too much talent. Irrespective of Bangladesh’s recent form in this format, it would always be a shock if they were to beat India. After losing to South Africa, we expect India to come back with one of their best performances in recent times and we are backing them to win this match. Considering the team combination, India is expected to win this match.
