India and South Africa are doing a pretty good job in the tournament, and come up against each other at a crucial juncture in the group stage. A win for either side will virtually seal a semi-finals spot. For India, the chances of going through will be even more better considering South Africa still has to play South Africa. For both sides though, the batting line-up is working well, and the bowling attack is also on song.
Played- 23 | South Africa – 9 | India- 13 | No Result- 1 | Tie- 0
Date: 30th October 2022
Time: 4:30 PM IST
Venue: Perth
The weather at Perth is fine and their should be no rain issues through the game.
The Perth track has some bounce in it and is normally the least spin friendly. Sri Lanka and Afghanistan though, found some spin on the track, using the bounce to an advantage. Batting first though is still a challenge and chasing will be a better option.
Temba Bavuma, Quinton De Kock, Rilee Roussow, Aiden Markaram, David Miller, Henrich Klaasen, Wayne Parnell, Keshav Maharaj, Anrich Nortje, Kagiso Rabada, Lungi Ngidi
Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik, Axar Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ravichandran Ashwin, Mohammad Shami, Arshdeep Singh
Quinton De Kock was at his explosive best in the first game. A rain interruption led to an unfortunate result, undoing his hard work, but he is in some incredible touch now. With Quinton De Kock coming up with some crisp starts, South Africa will benefit up front with ease. He is in really good form, with a fifty in the second game too, and is showing strong signs of consistency.
Before the tournament, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was once again in question for his form. The intensity was down and he looked very easy to hit. Two games in, the smart bowler in him is back, and he is repaying the faith nicely. He is doing a really good job, and India will hope he continues to deliver.

India won the most recent T20 series against South Africa. Both sides though are in good form, and South Africa in particular look pretty explosive with a solid batting line-up on hand. However, given how India are performing pretty well too, they should be favorites, in what promises to be yet another thrilling encounter.
