It is almost certain that Rohit Sharma will break a few world records whenever he walks up to bat in T20Is. He briefly overtook Virat Kohli as the second-highest run-scorer of all time in the format during the first T20I, but Kohli regained the distinction later in that match.

The Indians won the first T20I by six wickets thanks to Rohit’s 40 off 19 balls, which included three sixes. Rohit will surpass Aaron Finch’s record for most sixes against a single team and Hazratullah Zazai’s record for most sixes against a single opponent if he hits three more on Friday. Zazai has hit as many sixes as Finch against England. Right now, Rohit has 32 against the West Indies.Meanwhile, Rohit is also closing in on another record held by Finch. At the moment, he’s 36 runs from becoming the 2nd most prolific scorer against a single team in T20Is. With 594 runs against England, Finch leads Rohit, who has 559 runs. In the first Twenty20 International, India chased 158 runs to win. Rohit helped lead India to victory. Following his dismissal, West Indies managed to pull things back, extending the match to 19 overs.

The second T20I between the two teams will be a chance for India to end the series with a win over the West Indies. In the previous three-match ODI series, India had swept the West Indies 3-0.
