India and Sri Lanka had a few encounters between them this year. India came out on top in those encounters, but Sri Lanka did have a few fun moments as well. With a multi-national event on the line, Sri Lanka will know a few good moments will take them far in the tournament and will be looking for success as they take on a formidable Indian side.

Date: 1st October 2022
Time: 1:00 PM IST
Venue: Sylhet, Bangladesh
The weather at Sylhet is clear with no chance of rain during the IND-W vs SL-W game.
The Sylhet track is a little dry and is likely to take turn as the match progresses. Batting first will be a better option.
Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodriguez, Harmanpreet Kaur, Richa Ghosh, Sneh Rana, Deepti Sharma, Kiran Prabhu Navgire, Renuka Singh, Megha Singh, Rajeshwari Gayakwad
Chamari Athapaththu, Achini Kulasuriya, Harshitha Madavi, Hasini Perera, Anushka Sanjeewani, Malsha Shehani, Rashmi Silva, Inora Ranaweera, Oshadi Ranasinghe, Sugandiki Kumari, Kavisha Dilhari
Renuka Singh is in really good form at the moment. After proving her ability with a bucket load of wickets in the Commonwealth games, she continued her good run in the ODI format as well. With Jhulan Goswami retired, Renuka Singh is stepping up at the right time and looks set to fill some big boots in Indian Cricket
Earlier this year, Chamari Athapaththu had some good scores against India. She is probably Sri Lanka’s best player at the moment and they will be riding on her as they hope to get past the Indian team in the early parts of this tournament

Sri Lanka did show a little promise against India earlier in the year but will have a lot of work to do if they are to beat India. India are coming in with a lot of confidence after beating England in an ODI series and will be the team to beat in this tournament.
