Wins against Pakistan and the younger sides helped them come to this stage, and they will truly be feeling privelaged to play India in a multi-national tournaments Semi-Finals. Back in 2003, the Indian Mens team faced Kenya in a similar manner at the World Cup Semi-Finals, and now the Women’s team take on Thailand. While India are easy favorites, Thailand are giving surprises and it will be interesting to see how much they can push India.

After a string of low scores, Shafali Verma is finally delivering. She has a lot of trust from the management, who gave her time to cover her low scores. She is scoring again which should make the top-order look a lot more potent.
N Chaiwai, Thailand’s captain will be eager to get out in the middle. She has a strong opportunity here to make a standing for her nation considering they have beaten Sri Lanka in the past.

Thailand has made a stunning entry into the Semi-Finals, but their dream is likely to stop here. India are among the strongest in this tournament, and unless Thailand find a way to impress an India win is on the cards.
