In Match 9, which took place on Thursday at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata, Kolkata Knight Riders overcame their initial defeat in the IPL 2023 to defeat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 81 runs. RCB’s chase for 205 runs was crushed by KKR’s bowlers, who bowled them out for 123 in 17.4 overs.

These three groups have similar measures of focus, with net run rate being the main distinction.
