KL Rahul of the Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) struck a 14-ball half-century against the Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) on April 8, 2018, the second-quickest half-century in IPL history. Rahul started with a bang, hitting six fours and four sixes in his sensational performance while chasing 167 runs.
Pat Cummins tied KL Rahul’s record of the joint second-quickest fifty in IPL. On April 6, 2022, Kolkata seamer Pat Cummins cleaned up the Mumbai bowlers with a stunning 14-ball half-century. He struck four boundaries and six sixes as Kolkata pursued a 162-run target in 16 overs.
Yusuf Pathan scored the third-fastest 50 in Indian T20 League history against Hyderabad on May 24, 2014. Pathan hit a fifty in 15 balls and finished 72 off 22 deliveries. His performance, which included five fours and seven big sixes, helped Kolkata win by four wickets in this critical encounter.
Sunil Narine’s hitting prowess astounded everyone in the Indian T20 League. He hit a 15-ball fifty against Bangalore at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on May 7, 2017. Kolkata chased the goal of 159 runs in 16 overs thanks to his 54-run performance, which included six fours and four sixes.
