Cameron Green, an Australian all-rounder, is only 23 years old and hasn’t played in the IPL yet. However, his performance in the T20 series against India just before the T20 World Cup has made him a hot property at the IPL auction on December 23 in Kochi. Jos Buttler, the captain of England during the first ODI, kept reminding the swashbuckling batter to perform; In the upcoming IPL auction, Green remained unbeaten on 20 and shared a 47-run partnership with Steve Smith (80 not out) for the fifth wicket as Australia defeated England by six wickets in the first ODI at Adelaide. The incident occurred in the Australian innings’ 41st over.

Green, a newcomer to the crease, attempted to take on Liam Dawson, a left-arm spinner.

The Australian all-rounder used his feet on the third ball, but he didn’t get to the pitch. Instead, he got a thick inside edge into his pad, almost a return catch.

Buttler behind the wicket took a cheeky dig on Cameron Green and said: “Good to see someone playing a shot, Dawss!!”

Green with a wry smile on his face defended the next ball. But Buttler was not done with the young all-rounder.
