Ireland vs South Africa: Ireland has lost five in five but the loss alone doesn’t show the real picture. In three of those five games, Ireland came pretty close, punching well above their weight. They are really enjoying this period of facing tough sides, but at the same time are enduring a lot of heartbreaks as they keep losing close encounters.

The weather seems ok during the Ireland vs South Africa game with mild chances of rain.
The Bristol track is flat and good for batting. A lot of runs are likely and batting second is a better option. The square boundaries are a little bigger though and some spin is on offer. With big boundaries and a slower track, spinners will have a role to play.
Andy Balbairne(c), Stephen Doheny, Harry Tector, Curtis Campher, Paul Stirling, Goerge Dockrell, Simi Singh, Lorcan Tucker(wk), Craig Young, Josh Little, Mark Adnair
Quinton De Kock, Reeza Hendricks, Aiden Markram, Rassie Van Der Dussen, David Miller(c), Henrich Klaasan, Dwaine Pretorious, Keshav Maharaj, Tabraiz Shamsi, Lungi Ngidi Anrich Nortje
Reeza Hendricks is in a middle of a purple patch right now. He has cemented his spot as Quinton De Kock’s partner at the top and is getting to fifty plus scores with ease. He has four consecutive fifty plus scores and looks unfazed while batting. His consistency keeps in a good spot and he is a very valuable asset at the top.
Lorcan Tucker kept Ireland in the game well in the first game. Despite wickets falling, he continued to attack and put on a nice show for the crowd that came in. He is in top form and will be fun to watch if he continues to bat like this.
South Africa were in commanding position throughout the game. Ireland did manage to give South Africa slight concerns though, but that may be the most they can do in this series as South Africa possess a quality line-up.
