The Kolkata Knight Riders, with the perceived worst line-up of the season has found two heroes in Shardul Thakur and Rinku Singh to topple Bangalore, and later the unbeaten Gujarat Titans. Rinku Singh in particular has hit the spotlight with his five sixes in the Final over. SRH too finally have a win with their bowling coming to life against the Punjab Kings. Both sides are moving well and the upcoming game will prove to be important to see who can maintain their momentum in the games going forward.
Date: April 14th 2023
Time: 7:30 PM IST
Venue: Kolkata
Warm and dry weather is expected at Kolkata.
The Eden Gardens track is proving to be on the slower side and will favor KKR’s mystery spinners. Batting first will be a better option with the turn on offer.

T Natarajan
Natarajan did a fine job at the death while the others were being taken for runs around him. His death bowling remains effective and SRH will be banking on him to help them fight back after a poor bowling performance in the first game.
Nitish Rana
Nitish Rana, the captain, has found heroes in his side, but as a batter he will want to step up badly. He is a stalwart in the side and if KKR are to believe that they can contend consistently he and the likes of Russell will need to step up fast.

Mayank Agarwal vs Sunil Narine: Agarwal has a pretty middling record against Sunil Narine which could prompt KKR to bring out their trump card early, to break the top of the SRH batting line-up.
KKR and SRH both have the momentum. Looking at the line-ups though, despite all the madness that went on with KKR in their previous game, SRH will feel the confident side.
