🔹 South Africa won the toss and opted to bat first.
🔹 Pakistan's playing XI was announced yesterday with two changes - Saud Shakeel & Mohammad Hasnain replacing Kamran Ghulam & Haris Rauf.
Temba Bavuma (c), Tony de Zorzi, Matthew Breetzke, Kyle Verreynne, Heinrich Klaasen (wk), Wiaan Mulder, Senuran Muthusamy, Corbin Bosch, Keshav Maharaj, Lungi Ngidi, Tabraiz Shamsi
Fakhar Zaman, Babar Azam, Saud Shakeel, Mohammad Rizwan (w/c), Salman Agha, Tayyab Tahir, Khushdil Shah, Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Hasnain, Naseem Shah, Abrar Ahmed
Rizwan (Pakistan): "We're experimenting ahead of the Champions Trophy, taking it day by day. Salman Ali Agha bowled well, so we don't need extra spinners. Need to play good cricket today."
Bavuma (South Africa): "Stats suggest batting first is better, and the pitch looks good. We aim to put up a strong total. Klaasen bolsters our middle-order, and powerplay wickets will be key in these conditions."
A crucial match with both teams fine-tuning their squad before the Champions Trophy!

That marks the end of our coverage of the third game of this Tri-Series between Pakistan and South Africa. Pakistan pulled off a stunning chase, reaching the 353-run target with an over to spare—making it their highest successful run chase in ODI history.
With this victory, they have secured their place in the grand finale, where they will take on New Zealand for the trophy on February 14. It promises to be an exciting contest as Pakistan look to carry forward their momentum into the final.

It was a good wicket to bat on. We wanted to take the game deep and took it 5 overs at a time. It is just one of those, stuck to my hand. I want to contribute in all three departments and that's why I was able to pull off that catch. It was a good wicket in the first innings, it didn't change much. Hopefully, we can put up a total in the final and our bowling attack can defend any score.

Pakistan secure a commanding 6-wicket victory, marking their highest successful chase in ODIs. Rizwan, overwhelmed with relief, drops to his knees in prayer as the team celebrates. Handshakes and smiles all around in the Pakistan camp. As for the winning shot, Ngidi delivered a slower full ball outside off, giving Tayyab Tahir enough width and freedom to drive powerfully. He found the gap wide of cover, sealing the win in style.

A well-compiled knock under pressure! Salman Agha reaches his half-century with a drive through cover-point. He has paced his innings well and will look to convert this into a big one for Pakistan.

That's four consecutive ODI fifties for Heinrich Klaasen, and all of them have come against Pakistan. He has been a thorn in their side, consistently scoring runs against them. This time, he reaches the milestone with a well-timed push to long-off. South Africa will rely on him to accelerate further and push towards a strong total.

Edged and taken! Pakistan get the breakthrough as Afridi celebrates with a punch in the air. A 135.8kph length delivery slightly straightens outside off, drawing de Zorzi into a tentative poke. The thick outside edge flies to first slip, where Salman Agha dives to his right and grabs a fine catch.
