Lucknow Super Giants and Sunrisers Hyderabad will travel to Lucknow as they both lock horns against each other in match number ten of Indian Premier League 2023 at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium on 7th April 2023.
Sunrisers Hyderabad are coming to the contest after a poor performance in the previous game, as they lost against Rajasthan Royals by a huge margin of 72 runs at their home. SRH batters succumbed to the dominance of Trent Boult and Yuzvendra Chahal. Mayank Agarwal and Abdul Samad were the only batters to cross the 20-run mark for SRH. In the bowling department, Fazalhaq Farooqi and T. Natarajan picked two wickets each, Farooqi being too expensive with an economy of 10.25, and Natarajan (7.7) was economical, considering the other bowlers. SRH would be happy with the return of Aiden Markram, who missed the first game due to national commitments. Markram is all set to lead SRH in the next game. With the return of the SRH skipper, the batting looks formidable and they would look to bounce back the winning ways
Lucknow Super Giants, on the other hand, have come to the contest after having won and lost apiece in as many as two games they played. Kyle Mayers has been the stand-out performer with the bat for LSG as he aggregated 126 runs at an average of 63.00, he has amassed those runs at a staggering strike rate of 210. Kyle Mayers also smashed the fastest fifty by an LSG batter in their second match against CSK but his efforts went in vain as they lost the game by 12 runs chasing a humongous target of 217. In the bowling department, Mark Wood was lethal in both matches, picking up eight wickets in total from two games at a phenomenal strike rate of 6. LSG would be welcoming the return of Quinton de Kock to their side, with Nicholas Pooran being in good touch for LSG, it will be a great headache for the selectors to decide between De Kock and Pooran.
Meanwhile, let us look at the stats and numbers from game 10 between LSG vs SRH
