Kyle Mayers also smashed the fastest fifty by an LSG batter in their second match against CSK but his efforts went in vain as they lost the game by 12 runs chasing a humongous target of 217. In the bowling department, Mark Wood was lethal in both matches, picking up eight wickets in total from two games at a phenomenal strike rate of 6. LSG would be welcoming the return of Quinton de Kock to their side, with Nicholas Pooran being in good touch for LSG, it will be a great headache for the selectors to decide between De Kock and Pooran.
