The series is done but both sides have a lot to play for in this Bangladesh Vs Afghanistan encounter. With World Super League points and a World Cup spot at stake no team will want to take the upcoming game lightly. Both sides don’t know when their next ODI will be so each game is important here.

Bangladesh will be pleased with how the series let them see their young talent in action. The younger boys came to the party and played key roles in each game, which is an encouraging sight to see. Afghanistan’s batting has been a concern and their spinners are being negated. With lots of talent, Afghanistan know they can go better and will need their batters to step up in the final ODI.
Match: Bangladesh Vs Afghanistan
Date: February 28th 2022
Time: 10:30 AM IST
Venue: Chattogram
There is no rain in the forecast for the Bangladesh Vs Afghanistan game. Temperatures are moderate and dew is expected in the latter stages of the game.
The pitch is good to bat on and with the help of dew there will be some nice zip on the surface. The ball is likely to skid on the surface while having decent support for spin.
Bangladesh (probable): 1 Litton Das, 2 Tamim Iqbal (capt), 3 Shakib Al Hasan, 4 Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), 5 Yasir Ali, 6 Mahmudullah, 7 Afif Hossain, 8 Mehidy Hasan Miraz, 9 Shoriful Islam, 10 Taskin Ahmed, 11 Mustafizur Rahman
Afghanistan (probable): 1 Rahmanullah Gurbaz (wk), 2 Riaz Hassan, 3 Rahmat Shah, 4 Azmatullah Omarzai, 5 Hashmatullah Shahidi (capt), 6 Najibullah Zadran, 7 Mohammad Nabi, 8 Rashid Khan, 9 Mujeeb Ur Rahman, 10 Fareed Ahmed, 11 Fazalhaq Farooqi
Litton Das
The last few months have been very good for Litton Das. He succeeded in New Zealand and is carrying his team well in the ODIs now. He was once criticized for not taking responsibility and putting value on his wicket, but is now doing brilliant with his counter-attacking and aggressive stroke play.
Rashid Khan
Rashid Khan rejected an offer to fly in to the PSL Finals and fly back for the ODI. He put national duty ahead and earned lots of hearts. The focus will surely be on him after recent events, and this season hasn’t seen Rashid Khan dominate as he does in T20 Cricket. With one more game ahead Khan will try and dominate, making a statement.
Bangladesh are dominating and their young talent is doing a great job. With recent form, Bangladesh is clearly above and likely to win the upcoming game unless Rashid Khan can put something special ahead.
Match Prediction: Bangladesh will win the match.
