Sydney Sixers, who usually get off to flying starts are struggling this time around. They still do not have a win on the board and with players on national duty their task gets tougher. Melbourne Stars though are looking a little more fluent, leaving Sydney Sixers with a job on hand.

At 33, Trent Boult begins his journey as a freelancer. His first game went well from a personal point of view as he took the new ball and also picked up two wickets. With the Stars losing though, he will have a greater role as Stars look to get on the board.
With Matthew Wade nearing retirement, Australia’s hunt for a wicket-keeper batter is likely to take more substance. Josh Phillipe is an exciting young talent, and has done well in the Big Bash League over the past few seasons.

The Melbourne Stars are doing better than the Sydney Sixers. However, the Sixers are known to be good fighters and with a home game on hand they will look to pounce on the opportunity to get into the tournament.
