Travis Head was all over the English in the first game. He gave a potential glimpse of what can happen again in an years time in the longer format. The first ODI was a rather comfortable one for Australia while it also allowed the likes of Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne and Cameron Green with chances to get a hit. Labuschagne in particular was pretty good coming in at number five, keeping the scoreboard moving well. His bowling too was pretty good as Australia bowled 31 overs of spin. England too did well with the bat early on but their tendency to collapse came into play again as England looked set for 360+ at one stage. Their bowling looked a little rusty with Jofra Archer not settling into his rhythm in the longer white-ball format.

Venue: Headingley, Leeds
The weather looks good with a lot of sun through the day and minimal chances of rain.
Headingley, like most grounds in England can be good to bat on. The pitch looks firm with true bounce and early movement. Batting first, putting runs on the board and batting the opposition out early will be a better choice.

Liam Livingstone
Livingstone briefly faced the axe from ODIs with his numbers dwindling. With Jos Buttler out though, Livingstone has a chance of finding a second life in ODIs. He has the skillset for the game with flexibility in his batting and variety in his bowling but will be looking to ensure his potential converts to performances.
Marnus Labuschagne
Marnus Labuschagne was pretty good in the previous game, batting at a brisk strike rate. With time in the middle, Marnus Labuschagne has been enjoying the ODI format more and looks in really good touch.
Both sides are pretty evenly poised. England though may be a little short on experience and that could be where Australia will find themselves holding their nerve a touch better.
