After a thrilling T20 series both sides gear up for the ODI series. India are finally heading into an ODI without Mithali Raj, and will additionally be playing against Harmanpreet Kaur, as they start a new cycle. The series will also be the last one for Jhulan Goswami, an Indian legend. Along with Mithali Raj, she is one of the most influential players in Women’s Cricket, and India will be hoping to send her off with smiles.

To start the series well, India will need a really strong start from Smriti Mandhana. If she can survive the first twenty overs, India are set for a very good game, and a lot depends on how the start given by her and Shafali Verma.
Like India rely on Mandhana for strong starts, England will want a good start from Sophia Dunkley. She is a very talented opener as well, and has got some decent starts in recent times. A good innings early from her will help set the tone for England in this fixture.
