Rajasthan and Lucknow are the in-form sides at the moment. Line-up wise too both are pretty simple. Their bowling attacks are pretty solid, with good variety, and with the bat, they have some smart cricketers who prioritize balance over batting power. Rajasthan, with 14 points are a foot into the playoffs. A win here could nearly cement their spot, leaving them very close to a top-two position.

KL Rahul
KL Rahul has been pretty quite this season. His runs are going well and the intent with which he has batted at is also nice. Focussing on batting at a better tempo, KL Rahul is showing improvement with his strike-rate, which is why the silence in big scores.
Ravichandran Ashwin
Ravichandran Ashwin has chosen to go defensive this IPL. He has only one-wicket after seven games but has been pretty economical. While his numbers this season are not the best against left-hand batters, he remains one of the best off-spinners to exploit the left-hand match-up. LSG are full of lefties and that should keep him eager as he looks to improve his wickets tally.

Sanju Samson vs Mayank Yadav: The prospect of Mayank Yadav returning is mouth-watering. Sanju Samson, with a good technique against pace could relish this battle all the more. Mayank Yadav has been pretty unplayable as well which is where there could be an interesting match-up.
Lucknow are pretty strong at home and should start favorites.
