Royal Challengers look good this season. Their bowling worked well with the spin attack off to a good start. They will be happier in Chepauk knowing the spinners will have good assistance for them. The batting line-up too came in well with Virat Kohli and Phil Salt starting well and Rajat Patidar looking good as the leader. Bhuvneshwar Kumar's fitness remains a question though.
The Chennai Super Kings won their first game as well but they will be a little concerned coming into the fixture. Their batting line-up struggled with Shivam Dube and Deepak Hooda failing to get their stroke through. They took a relatively comfortable chase little too deep and struggled to look convincing with the bat. The bowling was solid though with Khaleel Ahmed and Noor Ahmad making extraordinary debuts for CSK. Ravi Ashwin came back pretty well too and the spin trio are likely to be even more at their element in the next game. The presence of right-handers in the RCB line-up will also bring Jadeja into play a lot more for the upcoming fixture.
Date: March 28th, 2025
Time: 7:30 PM IST
Venue: MA Chidhambaram Stadium, Chepauk
Clear weather and a nice evening is expected for the game.
Average Score Batting First in the last five games: 149
Average Score Batting Second in the last five games: 171
Wins Batting First in the last Five games: 1
Wins Batting Second in the last Five games: 1
Batting second seems a better option but with the slowness of the pitch batting first and getting runs on the board could be the better choice despite record saying otherwise.

Yash Dayal
Yash Dayal was the one to bowl the memorable final over in their last encounter where he dismissed Dhoni who smoked a 110m six the previous ball. He will come into this game with a lot of confidence and will be waiting to face MS Dhoni again at the back end of the innings.
Ravindra Jadeja
Ravindra Jadeja vs Virat Kohli is often a fun battle. With the right-handers in Bengaluru, there could be a lot of fun for him especially against the likes of Phil Salt and Rajat Patidar who will be eager to take him down.
Chennai struggled with the bat in the first game while Bengaluru were a little more convincing. They are chasing their first win in Chepauk since 2008 but will feel most confident for this particular encounter.
