Hyderabad put on 282 in the first game and now they take on LSG, who could not defend a 200+ total in their opener. The signs look ominous for certain. Lucknow are missing a handful of key bowlers in their side and with little for comfort, they could well see another big score go up against them in the next game. 300 does not seem too far, and the last encounter between these two sides remains fresh when Sunrisers chased down 166 in less than 10 overs. Can they challenge the Hyderabad batters and does Rishabh Pant have some magic in him to conjure something special out of a sticky situation?
Date: March 27th, 2025
Time: 7:30 PM IST
Venue: Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad
Clear weather and a nice evening is expected for the game.
Average Score Batting First in the last five games: 214
Average Score Batting Second in the last five games: 226

Hyderabad has been flat again this season and a lot of runs are expected. Batting first and getting a lot of runs on the board has worked for SRH and that could be the way to go.

Nicholas Pooran
Nicholas Pooran has a task on hand. Batters in Hyderabad tend to get a good grip of the pitch and for six-hitter like him the role becomes all the more important as Lucknow look to stay in the contest against the most explosive side in the IPL.
Abhishek Sharma
Abhishek Sharma the batter is off to a good start in the tournament. The bowler though has been coming in nicely too. With Rajasthan making 242, Abhishek Sharma managed to bowl two tidy overs at 8.5. He was quick and efficient and looks improved and capable to build into another potential left-arm spinning all-rounder in the Axar Patel mold.
Sunrisers start evident favorites on a good batting track and against a shaky bowling line-up.
