London Spirit continues to look for a win as they struggled towards the end of last season as well finishing with a string of losses. Manchester started their season with a loss as well but both sides will be pleased with their losses coming off close margins.
Date: August, 5th 2023
Time: 7:00 PM IST
Venue: Manchester
It will be cloudy and humid throughout this fixture.
The nature of the new ground is uncertain but given the nature of the format, a flat pitch offering a lot of runs could be expected making it better for the side batting second.
Zak Crawley, Daniel Bell Drummond Matthew Wade, Dan Lawrence, Daryl Mitchell, Liam Dawson, Adam Rossington, Ravi Bopara, Nathan Ellis, Chris Wood, Mason Crane
Jos Buttler, Phil Salt, Max Holden, Ashton Turner, Paul Walter, Jamie Overton, Wayne Madsen, Ben Raine, Josh Little, Josh Tongue, Richard Gleeson, Tom Hartly
Zak Crawley
If Zak Crawley does make it for the first game he will be an interesting player to keep an eye on. He will be coming in with a lot of confidence having just went through an incredible Ashes series and that could push him forward well in the white-ball game too.
Jos Buttler
Jos Buttler returns to action after the T20 Blast, where he seems to have found some form. His numbers in the IPL prior to that though were not the greatest by his standards and he will be hoping to improve on that now in the Hundred as big crowds await him.
The upcoming game could be interesting with both sides coming in after close losses. Manchester though will be favorites with Jos Buttler in their ranks while London wait for the return of their Ashes stars.
