The Kandy Falcons, Champions recently and a side full of experience scrape their way into the playoffs again. Them making the playoffs should be something to watch as a side with that much experience often knows how to handle the big stage better than anyone else.
They are against a side with a lot of flair and talent though as the Strikers are capable of producing big with a number of impact players. Their key guys are in really good form as well leading to an interesting encounter which could well determine who goes on to win the whole tournament.

Angelo Mathews
Kandy are full of experienced stars but the name to watch in particular is Angelo Mathews. He loves the big stage, and he was the one who led the way last season as well. He is doing decently with both bat and ball, managing to get through as required and a big game can be expected from him.
Glenn Phillips
Glenn Phillips continues to work his strengths. He is in really good form and a move to the top of the orders seems to be working well with Phillips constructing and injecting momentum into the innings nicely.
