The Multan Sultans are on a slide. After a strong start they are now in a battle to qualify with two games left. They are still in a really good spot but with Peshawar and Quetta still in with a chance they may feel a little more nervous considering they lose another game. Zalmi too are in a tight spot. They lost their last game in heartbreaking fashion. After making 240 with a century from Babar Azam, they saw defeat with their target conquered with ten balls to go.
Date: March 10th, 2023
Time: 7:30 PM IST
Venue: Rawalpindi
The Weather at Rawalpindi is pretty good for the upcoming game.
With short boundaries and a good batting track runs should be easier to come by and batting second will be a better option.
Played- 12 | Multan Sultans- 9 | Peshawar Zalmi- 3
Babar Azam, Tom Kohler Cadmore, Bhanuka Rajapaksha, Saim Ayub, Rovmann Powell, Mohammad Haris, James Neesham, Aamer Jamal, Mujeeb Ur Rahman, Wahab Riaz, Usman Qadir
Shan Masood, Mohammad Rizwan, David Miller, Kieron Pollard, Khushdil Shah, Usman Khan, Usama Mir, Akeal Hossein, Sameen Gul, Shahnawaz Dahani, Ihsanullah
Tom Kohler Cadmore has been putting up a really nice display against spin. He has shown a lot of consistency and has played the spinners rather comfortably in the tournament which will come as a lot of good news to his national side.
Shan Masood looked promising as an opener in the opening game. His batting and the left-arm option he gives at the top leaves Multan and Pakistan too looking at new uses for Shan Masood.
Peshawar, coming off a really tough loss may be a little dejected, giving Multan a chance of breaking their losing streak and securing a playoff spot.
