A full strength South African unit gathers to keep South Africa’s chances of making the World Cup alive. Normally, South Africa may not field a full eleven with a home game against Netherlands so close to the IPL. However, with a lot on the line, Netherlands now have a chance of making some noise against a full fledged South African team. This is the second ODI of the series with the first being washed out back in 2021, and the series continuing from there.

Roelof Van Der Merwe holds the key for Netherlands. He played a central role in their win over South Africa in the World Cup and given his experience of playing for and in South Africa, he could make an impact if he finds comfort early.
Quinton De Kock has been in pretty good form up top. He has been getting his side off to solid starts but has also been rather unnoticed for his performances, providing silent contributions for his side upfront.
South Africa, with a full strength side walk in as favorites in their own conditions.
