Brisbane are off to a good start this season with Grace Harris and Jess Jonassen looking very good with leading the way with bat and ball. Perth though are yet to get into their own groove and the WACA may help with that.
Date: November 5th, 2024
Time: 2:40 PM IST
Venue: WACA, Perth
Clear weather and a nice morning is expected for the game.
The WACA is known for its pace but recent times has seen the pitch go flat and easy to score on. Batting second will be a better choice with the ball likely to come onto the bat better as the game progresses.
Beth Mooney, Maddy Darke, Carly Leeson, Amy Jones, Mikayla Hinkley, Chloe Piparo, Alana King, Chloe Ainsworth, Amy Edgar, Lilly Mills, Ebony Hoskin
Georgia Redmayne, Grace Harris, Lauren Winfield Hill, Charlie Knot, Jess Jonassen, Laura Harris, Nadine de Klerk, Sianna Ginger, Shikha Pandey, Grace Parsons, Nicola Hancock
Alana King
Alana King loved the new ball in the previous game. She started off with her leg-spin and looks pretty tough to pick with her subtle variations in pace.
Laura Harris
Laura Harris is looking good as the finisher with Brisbane. She has the capability of finding the ropes with ease and is doing really well to add those extra ten or fifteen runs in the back end of the innings.
Both sides did struggle last season but Brisbane may back themselves given they look a touch more balanced with their line-up.
