The Melbourne derby begins with both sides pretty close on the points table. The tournament has been pretty competitive so far and the games have run close as well. With both teams on four points and the table toppers on six points a win takes them close to the top three and away from the traffic on four points as well.

Venue: Junction Oval, Melbourne
Clear weather and a nice morning is expected for the game.
The WACA is known for its pace but recent times has seen the pitch go flat and easy to score on. Batting second will be a better choice with the ball likely to come onto the bat better as the game progresses.

Rhys McKenna
Rhys is off to an explosive start. She finished the innings well in the previous game and has the ability to pierce that gaps while timing the ball over the ropes well too.
Hayley Matthews
Hayley Matthews continues to rule the World with her all-round skill. She was at it again, taking two wickets with the ball and then following it up with a quick fire start in the chase against the Brisbane Heat.
Both sides are coming in with a good wins from their previous games. The Renegades may feel a little more in command though playing at home and with a more dominating win in their previous game.
