As the 10th edition of the WBBL comes to a close, there are only two teams left to compete for the championship on Sunday. The Melbourne Renegades will face the Brisbane Heat on the iconic MCG.
Date: December 01st, 2024
Time: 7:00 AM IST
Venue: Melbourne Cricket Ground - Richmond
The weather has been overcast for the past few days, and we can expect rain during Sunday's game.
The MCG pitch is likely to be wet, and bowlers will have plenty of assistance. The new ball will swing a lot, and the spinners will have some turn as well. A score of more than 150 will probably be difficult to beat here.

Hayley Matthews
The West Indies captain is another player who is handy with both bat and ball. Hayley Matthews has been a key performer for the team, scoring 255 runs and also picking up 12 wickets.
Jess Jonassen
She has picked up 16 wickets in the 11 matches played so far and would be aiming to continue her great form in the final game. In addition, she also made 174 runs in the league so far.

Brisbane and Melbourne are unquestionably the best teams this year, and we can expect a fitting end to this thrilling season. While there's no clear favorite, given the previous head-to-head record, we believe Brisbane has a slight advantage over the Renegades.
