England's test team is back from Pakistan and will soon be on their way for another Test series in New Zealand. In the gap though, their fringe players play some ODI Cricket as they do another white-ball reboot. They prepare for the champions trophy against West Indies, who has not made it to the same tournament but have also competed fairly well against England in recent white-ball competitions. With Jos Buttler continuing to miss out, Liam Livingstone, dropped not too long ago in ODIs now gets to lead the side while Sam Curran gets another chance to remind the selectors of his talent.
The West Indies though are not anywhere near short of talent. Shimron Hetmyer makes return to an ODI side which is pretty competitive. The ODI side looked very good in Sri Lanka despite the series loss and Evin Lewis made a nice comeback after years out. They have a nice core with Gudakesh Motie and Alzarri Joseph leading the bowling attack while the batting line-up continues to hold multi-utility players like it once did.

Venue: North Sound, Antigua
The weather is on the cooler side and there could be dew later on.
Antigua is generally good to bat on with some dryness in the pitch. Cross winds tend to play a role as well at the ground and batting first will be a better choice.

Evin Lewis
Evin Lewis has good memories against England at home. He played some whirlwind knocks and is back in ODIs as good as ever. His name still keeps its place and his explosiveness remains something to watch.
Sam Curran
With Jos Buttler out, Sam Curran might have been a little upset at being overlooked as captain. He expected a Test comeback as well when Ben Stokes was injured with selectors not putting the spotlight on him as much as earlier. He is a talent but the performances have not been as eye catchy off late and Sam Curran will need to get some performances to put his name up again.
Both sides are well balanced but West Indies could start favorites with home conditions and a deep line-up with both bat and ball.
