West Indies triumphed in the first ODI leaving England with more to think about after losing to a side that did not make the final cut for the World Cup. Both teams still have a lot to think about but for West Indies, with how their batting went and with Shai Hope doing well, will feel that they are moving in a better direction.
Date: December 3rd, 2023
Time: 7:00 PM IST
Venue: Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, North Sound
The weather is in focus with rain likely sometime through the game.
The Sir Vivian Richards stadium is not known to be very high scoring and a score in the 280s range usually is competitive. Batting first is a better option with the pitch wearing more at North Sound

Will Jacks
Will Jacks does not have a central contract but is a player who has a strong chance of making the side across formats in the next year. The skillset he offers is pretty interesting as a hard hitting opener and a handy off-spinner.
Shimron Hetmyer
West Indies have a lot to prove in this series and Shimron Hetmyer too is one who has a task on hand. He is one of their most talented ones going around but he has not been able to prevent West Indies from their recent World Cup debacles and will want to find a way to make an impact.
West Indies are ahead but England could feel that they are one game away from turning their fortunes around. Jos Buttler too could be an innings away from finding his best and if he does England are likely to run away with the game.
