Gujarat finally have a win while Meg Lanning finally sees defeat as she loses to Harmanpreet Kaur’s Mumbai Indians. The tournament is spicing up, and with Gujarat finally getting a win, they have a strong chance of making things a lot tougher for Royal Challengers Bangalore who are further behind them with no win in four games.
Date: March 11th 2023
Time: 7:30 PM IST
Venue: DY Patil Stadium
The Weather at DY Patil Stadium is pretty good for the upcoming game.
With short boundaries and a good batting track runs should be easier to come by and batting second will be a better option.
Played- 0 | Delhi Capitals- 0 | Gujarat Giants- 0
Shafali Verma, Alice Capsey, Meg Lanning, Jemimah Rodriguez, Laura Harris, Marizanne Kapp, Taniya Bhatia, Shikha Pandey, Radha Yadhav, Poonam Yadav, Jess Jonassen
Sabbhineni Meghana, Beth Moony, Harleen Deol, Ashleigh Gardener, Dayalan Hemalatha, Sneh Rana, Georgia Wareham, Tanuja Kanwar, Mansi Joshi, Monica Patel
With Beth Moony likely to miss out, Sneh Rana will be taking over the reins. She is a pretty composed cricketer and with a chance of leading a side, it will be interesting to see how she reacts to the challenge.
Lanning is fresh of yet another World Cup win. She is one of the most successful captains in the Cricketing World and now has a new challenge ahead as she looks to conquer India, in a different shade this time.
Meg Lanning and her team are coming in after a tough loss and will want to come back soon. Gujarat has played some good cricket in their last game but with Meg Lanning and co likely to fightback hard, Delhi Capitals could see themselves over the line here.
