New Zealand beating India is a good start for them but they now have a challenge against their neighbours and rivals. Coming into the tournament, New Zealand had a streak of ten losses in a row, losing to Australia on a few of those occasions as well.
Date: October 8th, 2024

Venue: Sharjah International Cricket Stadium
A hot evening with minimal dew is expected.
Sharjah has been pretty low and slow so far. There isn't much dew around as well and that could be beneficial for sides batting first.
Beth Moony, Alyssa Healy, Georgia Wareham, Ellyse Perry, Ashleigh Gardner, Phoebe Litchfield, Tahlia McGrath, Annabel Sutherland, Sophie Molineux, Tayla Vlaeminck, Megan Schutt
Suzie Bates, Georgia Plimmer, Amelia Kerr, Sophie Devine, Brooke Halliday, Maddy Green, Isabelle Gaze, Jess Kerr, Rosemary Mair, Lea Tahuhu, Eden Carson
Amelia Kerr
Kerr is a top all-rounder going around. However her record against Australia like many New Zealand legends is something which leaves a lot to wonder. She has the technique on spin-friendly tracks and a performance from her will be the major difference.
Beth Moony
Beth Moony has been a touch scratchy with her form coming into the tournament. She is going big but there are a lot of low scores as well in between. A strong start from her will be exactly what Australia will be looking for as they look to extend their mighty lead in Women's International events over the other sides.
Australia are easy favorites after a commanding start to their career despite New Zealand's start early on as well.
