A strong chunk of India's chances rest on beating Australia now. They had a similar scenario in the 2022 World Cup but that didn't go well for them and now they will need to hope they can cross the line this time against the mighty Australians.

A hot evening with minimal dew is expected.
Spin is likely to play a large part int he upcoming game. Batting first with the dew factor unlikely is a better option.
Beth Moony, Alyssa Healy, Georgia Wareham, Ellyse Perry, Ashleigh Gardner, Phoebe Litchfield, Tahlia McGrath, Annabel Sutherland, Sophie Molineux, Tayla Vlaeminck, Megan Schutt
Shafali Verma, Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodriguez, Harmanpreet Kaur, Richa Ghosh, Deepti Sharma, Arundathi Reddy, Shreyanka Patil, Pooja Vastrakar, Asha Shobana, Renuka Singh
Beth Moony
Beth Moony has been a touch scratchy with her form coming into the tournament. She is going big but there are a lot of low scores as well in between. A strong start from her will be exactly what Australia will be looking for as they look to extend their mighty lead in Women's International events over the other sides.
Shreyanka Patil
Shreyanka Patil has been in good touch in recent times. She is having a good time and was good in the WPL as well. With spin likely to play a role while the ball stays dry she will have a job on hand as she looks to combine with her fellow spinners to strangle the New Zealand batters.
Australia start firm favorites against India, who has struggled to get past second gear with the bat on a number of occasions.
