Mumbai and Delhi have easily been the best sides of the tournament. Both are in comfortable positions and are favorites to take each other on one more time in the Finals. Mumbai took round one, and with round two likely to be a little more relaxed, Delhi will still be eager to pull themselves together and push the Mumbai Indians ahead of the playoffs.
Date: March 20th 2023
Time: 7:30 PM IST
Venue: DY Patil Stadium
The Weather at DY Patil Stadium is pretty good for the upcoming game.
With short boundaries and a good batting track runs should be easier to come by and batting second will be a better option.
Played- 0 | Delhi Capitals- 0 | Mumbai Indians- 1
Shafali Verma, Alice Capsey, Meg Lanning, Jemimah Rodriguez, Laura Harris, Marizanne Kapp, Taniya Bhatia, Shikha Pandey, Radha Yadhav, Poonam Yadav, Jess Jonassen
Hayley Matthews, Amelia Kerr, Harmanpreet Kaur, Priyanka Bala, Yasthika Bhatia, Nat Sciver Brunt, Neelam Bisht, Pooja Vastrakar, Heather Graham, Issy Wong, Sonam Yadav
Hayley Matthews has looked good all season and has constantly threatened to take both the orange and purple caps. She is doing wonders with both bat and ball, and in a team full of all-rounders that eases the scenario wildly for the players behind her.
In a star-studded lineup Jemimah Rodriguez has thrived with a lot of freedom given to her. Coming in at three she is consistently providing some handy cameos and looks very threatening.
Delhi and Mumbai are both on top of the table. However, Meg Lanning’s form and her leadership could see her edge ahead against Harmanpreet Kaur in yet another battle.
