The Mumbai Indians have a win and hopefully that gets their ball rolling. They did struggle, but the batting line-up looks a lot more promising now, and they will be hoping their bowling line-up can continue to impress. Kolkata though, with a lot of questions over their line-up are continuing to impress. Despite losing the previous game, all the attention was on them as they kept the audience believing up until the end with some wonderful stroke play.
Date: April 16th 2023

The Mumbai track is expected to be a little two paced but with small boundaries batting second remains a better option.

Rinku Singh
Rinku Singh, with heroics against Gujarat, and a really good knock to keep KKR in the hunt against SRH is keeping KKR interested. He is striking the ball really well in the back end, and with the way he has been going, Singh could well make this tournament his, given the brilliance he has provided so far.
Rohit Sharma
A flat track and struggling bowling attack ahead leaves Rohit Sharma with a great chance of making an impact and reminding his worth as a batter in the IPL. He has the shots, his international form has been decent, and he will be waiting to play a good innings in a tournament which has not seen his impact in a while.

Rohit Sharma vs KKR: Rohit Sharma, in the past has played some of his best knocks against the Knight Riders, and has been a huge contributor to their one-sided head to head record. Now that he has found his range again, it will be interesting to see if KKR face the wrath of vintage Rohit Sharma once more.
KKR are finding stars and look much better than they did a couple weeks ago. However, Mumbai too found a win, and with Rohit back in form, considering the head to head between both sides, Mumbai could make things interesting with another win here.
