The last time these two sides faced off, Royal Challengers made it very easy for themselves. They came out with a top performance while Mumbai were left worried as they started just as they did in 2022, which was a miserable season for them. Now, a month later, Royal Challengers have a few concerns with their approach and Mumbai are starting to look a bit better with Rohit Sharma’s form the major concern.

Tim David
Tim David the finisher goes up against the side that bought him into the IPL. He has been in explosive touch this season and with RCB’s bowling attack not as solid as they want them to be they are likely to struggle against the big hitting Tim David.
Mohammad Siraj
After a dull season in 2022 Siraj has come back roaring. He is doing a really good job in the first spell, and looks very threatening as he has picked up a wicket on most occasions within the powerplay. His opening burst will be crucial to RCB who now begin their journey away from home.

Mumbai are a much different side from the side RCB faced last time around. With Mumbai back in Mumbai they will hope Rohit comes back to form, and that should be what puts them ahead.
