New Zealand will play against Pakistan in the final of the ongoing tri-series on October 14. Both teams have played some terrific cricket in the last two weeks. Pakistan had gotten the better of New Zealand in the second game of the tri-series. However, the hosts registered a comprehensive 9-wicket win against Pakistan in the fourth match. The spin duo of Michael Bracewell and Mitchell Santner demolished the batting line-up of Pakistan in that match.
Babar Azam and Co will have to develop specific plans for dealing with Bracewell and Santner. Pakistan will also have to contend with prolific wicketkeeper-batter Devon Conway. The Kiwi has been in scintillating form and will play a huge role in the high-stakes final. There is very little to choose between the two teams and the final promises to be a riveting contest.

Pakistan batsmen huffed and puffed to a score of 130/7 in 20 overs after choosing to bat 1st. In reply, aided by brilliant 117 runs opening stand between Finn Allen & Devon Conway, NZ achieved the target in 16.1 overs. Earlier Mitchel Santner, Michael Bracewell & Tim Southee picked 2 wickets each for the Kiwis. None of the Pakistan batsmen could score freely against the bowling of the home team. Such was NZ’s domination that the Pakistan batsman hit not even a single SIX during their 20-over innings. New Zealand is overall a strong team than Pakistan and we are sure that they will give us a tough time Pakistan in this match. Considering the team combination, New Zealand is expected to win this match.
