New Zealand are entering their final phase of preparation and has some hurdles to cross. Daryl Mitchell is out for the series with a finger injury and seems to be a doubt for the World Cup as well. Along with his absence, New Zealand will have to find out how they plan to fit Finn Allen into the side. He is a huge talent but with Martin Guptill still moving well their is some competition at the top.
Pakistan are moving well, and find themselves in a rare scenario in World Cricket. They are one of the very few teams who seem to enjoy defending rather than chasing. The bowling attack keeps getting better, defending middling scores nicely. The batting order is still work in progress with Mohammad Rizwan pushing Pakistan forward.

NZ vs PAK Key Players
Mohammad Rizwan
Mohammad Rizwan is in really good form with consecutive scores above fifty. He is looking really consistent and should enjoy the flatter and smaller grounds in New Zealand. He is off to a good start this series and continues to look unstoppable with the bat.
Finn Allen
Finn Allen is already proving to be an exciting young talent. He is aggressive, can keep wickets and provides a lot of flair to the line-up. With Guptill and Conway around though, Finn Allen has some competition at the top and will have to find a way to cement his place in the line-up.
New Zealand and Pakistan are pretty even on the head to head. Pakistan did get the better of them in the last World Cup and could find their way past New Zealand this time as well, despite playing in New Zealand.
